Our Spanish courses are taught by highly qualified teachers with years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

 

We offer intensive Spanish courses that completely immerse you in the language and culture of Mexico. Each of our courses provide you with exactly the right amount of teaching during the period of your stay. Classes are taught Monday to Friday, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For your lessons, we form small groups of students based on your level of Spanish (max. 8 people). This is to ensure a more personalized learning experience. Our classrooms are within the same building as our residency, where our students stay, making it easier to access your classes each morning.

All educational materials you may need for the course are included in you price you pay. Our teachers use material created especially for our classes, combined with specialized textbooks that are also provided to you free of charge. We are Spanish language teachers, so providing you with the best quality Spanish lessons abroad is our priority!.
We provide a course that is full of cultural experiences, as you might expect. Every week, we organize an educational activity designed so that our students can practice their language in real situations and learn more about Mexican culture. Each week we provide tours, cooking classes and visits to museums to enrich your experience.

Upon completion of our course, SpeakMexico issues you with a Diploma that certifies the studies you undertook. The certificate includes your name, your new level of language and the number of hours you studied. If you need any alterations to this diploma for a new job for example, let us know and we will sort you out.

 

At Speak Mexico, our students are grouped together depending on the level of Spanish they have before starting the course. This level is determined by a short examination of our students language while in Cozumel. But no need to worry, this isn’t a big test, it will just help us to determine the class we place you in. By understanding this, we can best meet your language learning needs.

The level of the students language will be based on the established levels set out by the European Union (CEFR). The levels which students can have are A1, A2, BI, B2, C1 and C2. So after your examine, we will give you one of these levels, and then we will help you improve on that level! Each level recognizes a distinct level of a students language skills, which includes: Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

The program aims to provide our students with thematic content, communicative objectives and linguistic content. These aims are delivered by teaching students audio comprehension, pronunciation training, oral expression, reading comprehension, written expression, idioms and gestures, and various optional activities. So it’s a wide range of tactics we will use to make sure you get the best out of your time on a SpeakMexico course.

Our students will be exposed to a range of exercises, both written and audio exercises, that you would expect to come across in everyday life, and in a wide range of cultural contexts (Mexico, Latin American, Spain for example). These exercises will all be geared toward improving the level of language our students ultimately obtain.

So given the magnificent surroundings of the island of Cozumel, our students will learn Spanish in the same time that they are enjoying everything Mexico and Latin America has to offer. In class we will use a range of media to showcase what this part of the world has to offer, and to allow our students to live a genuine localized experience in Mexico and learn in a completely Spanish speaking environment.

We offer 3 types of programs, that differ in duration:

  • Part-Time – 10 lessons per week.
  • Intensive 20 lessons per week.
  • Intensive+ 20 lessons per week PLUS 5 individual lessons.

 

Courses are delivered Monday to Friday from:

  • 9:15am to 10:45am – Class (2 lessons of 45 minutes)
  • 10:45am to 11:00am – Short break
  • 11:00am to 12:30pm – Class (2 lessons of 45 minutes)

We provided single and double rooms with all amenities such as free WiFi in a facility with pool and restaurant. All of which is included in the price.

With our packages, students only pay for their classes. They get travel, accommodation and materials at no extra cost. The cost of classes starts at €24 per hour.
